Departmental Colloquium

Minimal Dark Matter Models

Rainer Dick
University of Saskatchewan

Time

Fri. January 20, 2012     1:30 PM     Stirling A

Abstract

After a brief introduction and update on the evidence for the existence of dark matter in large scale structures, I will discuss minimal dark matter models and their possible signatures. The presentation will focus on our work on minimal dark matter signals in the diffuse gamma ray background. We will also discuss current work on nuclear recoil of minimal dark matter components and minimal dark matter production cross sections at colliders.

Refreshments will be available before the talk.
