Jay Weymouth - nanoPhysics Group

Welcome

I am a PhD candidate in Queen's University's Department of Physics, Engineering Physics & Astronomy.

Research Overview

I investigate interactions between molecules and surfaces with a scanning tunneling microscope. I currently do all experiments under ultra-high vacuum on the Si(111)-7x7 surface. I am experimenting with simple aromatic molecules.

Bio

I completed a Bachelor of Applied Science at the University of Toronto in the Engineering Science's Physics stream in 2003. In 2004, I completed a Masters of Engineering at Queen's University in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. After a year off, I returned to Queen's University where I am currently pursuing my doctorate.
