Prerequisites: PHYS 104 or 105 or 106 or 107 or CHEM 112 or 116 or permission of the Department.

 

Description. A course in planetary astronomy intended for students in the life sciences, earth sciences and chemistry who have taken a suitable first-year course. Topics include the solar system, the origin of life on Earth, other planets and planetary systems, extra-terrestrial life.
