Graduate Studies Opportunities

We welcome inquiries and applications from candidates from any country who are interested in studying the properties of novel electronic and optical materials, in particular carbon based materials, at the nano-scale scale with modern scanning probe techniques. Full funding is guaranteed irrespective your country of origin. If you are interested in research in this area please email Prof. McLean at mclean [AT] physics.queensu.ca and concurrently make an appliciation to the Graduate School indicating your interest in "SCANNING PROBE MICROSCOPY/NANOPHYSICS". Research will lead, depending on your interest and experience, to one of the following higher degrees: M.Sc,. M. App. Sc. (Engineering) or a Ph.D. Although the departmental deadline is in March, you should apply as soon as possible because applications are considered as they come in.
